Biography
Michael, now part of Olvera Advisors, brings an impressive 20+ years of experience in restructuring and insolvency from Australia and the United Kingdom. Since 2012, he’s focused on supporting businesses in Western Sydney along with their directors, advisors, lenders, and stakeholders. As a Registered Liquidator, his comprehensive involvement in external administrations has been instrumental in preserving businesses and enhancing returns for creditors.
Michael has earned the trust of many stakeholders, including banks, alternative lenders, and government departments, providing a broad spectrum of advisory services, including Safe Harbour, pre-lend reviews, and investigative accountant assignments.
While his primary focus remains the middle market, Michael shows a unique aptitude for finding innovative solutions to complex issues. His experience extends from advising small businesses to managing the affairs of listed companies and businesses operating in multiple locations across Australia and globally.
